What is a Facebook?
Social Networks such as Facebook and myspace have enjoyed phenomenal growth in the last few years, and we now see a new phenomenon growing on top of those networks – Facebook Applications, or in short form Facebook Apps. Facebook Applications are programs that are add-ons to Facebook. Facebook apps in the form of games, were some of the first Facebook applications, and now other stand alone programs are being retrofitted as Facebook apps and are being offered to Facebook users.
